Banaras Court to decide which plea on Gyanvyapti Mosque row to be taken up first

Lucknow, May 24: The court of District Judge in Varanasi will decide on Tuesday which pleas on the Gyanvyapi Mosque row to be taken up first.
The hearing in this case will begin around 2pm, court sources have said.
The District Judge AK Vishwesh had reserved his order on Monday after hearing both the Hindu and Muslim sides in the matter. The Hindu side has demanded that the Muslim side should first put up its objections if any first as the Court Commissioner has already completed the survey work as per a lower court’s order.
However, the lawyer representing Anjuman Intejamia Masjit Mohamma Touhid Khan has pleaded that the plea of the Hindu petitioner is not maintainable and hence be dismissed.
