Shahid, Kriti film Cocktail 2 box office collection day 5, eyes Rs 100 crore mark

Mumbai: The three stars Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna film Cocktail 2 continued a steady run on its fifth day.

According to Sacnilk, the Bollywood film Cocktail 2 has reportedly collected Rs 6.65 crore nett in India across 9,565 shows on second day. The opening day collection was Rs 13.5 crore nett in India.

Today’s collection takes the total India gross to Rs 72.75 crore and total India net collections to Rs 60.90 crore so far.

Overseas, Cocktail 2 collected Rs 1.50, taking the total gross to Rs 22.25 crore. Combining both, nation and overseas the worldwide stands at Rs 95.11 crore.

Cocktail 2 is a sequel of the original film Cocktail, romantic drama of 2012. The Imtiaz Ali directorial collected s 23.18 crore in India during its first two days. It featured Saif Ali Khan, Diana Penty and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.

The film is currently in competition with newly released movies of other well-known actors. The films are Bobby Deol’s Bandar, the Hollywood horror film Obsession, Imtiaz Ali’s Main Vaapas Aaunga and Vikram Bhatt’s Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past.

Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Cocktail 2 is directed by Homi Adajania. The film revolves around the character of Shahid, Kunal. It shows Rashmika as her childhood love and had good bonding. However the film took an unexpected turn when the actor meets the second main character Kriti Sanon. It’s a whole cinema.
