Another girl attempts self-immolation in Bargarh

Padampur: In a shocking incident, another girl has allegedly attempted self-immolation in Odisha. The incident took place in the Phiringimal village under Gaisilet Police Station limits in Padampur area of Bargarh district.

The victim girl student reportedly studies in Class VIII.

As per reports, the said minor girl set herself on fire by pouring petrol yesterday. She was rescued in a half-burnt state from the football ground.

Reportedly, the student was studying in class VIII while staying at her uncle’s house.

It is yet to be ascertained why the minor girl attempted self-immolation or anybody else tried to set her on fire.

It is to be noted that earlier a similar incident had been witnessed in the FM College of Balasore a few days back.

As per latest information, the victim has been shifted to VIMSAR hospital in Burla of Sambalpur district in a critical condition.
