Air India Delhi- Vadodara flight makes emergency landing

New Delhi: An incident occurred on Sunday evening when an Air India flight  from Delhi to Vadodara was forced to make an emergency landing shortly after take-off. The flight was carrying 168 passengers and had just departed from Indira Gandhi International Airport when the pilot suspected a possible issue with the aircraft’s landing gear.

According to the reports, the Airbus A321neo, AI 819, took off at 6:51pm which was delayed from its scheduled 6:25pm departure from Terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI).

Within minutes of becoming airborne, the captain chose to return to Delhi as a precautionary measure. Following which the aircraft landed safely back at IGI Airport by 7:20pm.
