Ex-Gratia for Working Journalists; Manas Mangaraj Congratulates CM Naveen

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): The state government today announced ex-gratia for journalists amid Corona outbreak in the state. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has announced Rs 15 lakh assistance to the family in of working journalist those who lose their life. Following the announcement, Manas Mangaraj, Adviser to the Department of Information and Public Relations, congratulated the Chief Minister on his announcement. He hopes it will encourage working journalists.
Doctors, health workers, police, sanitation workers and journalists working harder to fight the pandemic are risking their lives. Earlier, doctors, health workers, police, cleaning staff and Asha workers had announced the ex-gratia. Today’s announcement of the Chief Minister’s assistance to journalists is sure to provide them with support and encouragement to work with confidence and courage.
