Odisha to Witness Thunderstorm Today

Bhubaneswar (Pramit Pramathes): The IMD, Bhubaneswar issued thunderstorm and lightning alert for near about seven districts in the state today.

As per the latest weather bulletin, thunderstorm and lightning are likely to occur in parts of Nayagarh, Kalahandi, Balangir, Nuapada,Bargarh,Sonepur and Boudh. Besides, the MeT office predicted light to moderate rainfall and gusty wind with speed reaching at 30-40 kmph in the areas.

Such weather condition is likely to prevail in the district till afternoon, the regional MeT office said.
