Odisha Board Says Exams to Continue Despite Sept 30 Bandh

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, has confirmed that all scheduled examinations will be held as planned despite the statewide bandh announced for September 30 by the Naba Nirman Krushak Sangathan (NNKS).
BSE President Srikanta Tarai said there has been no change in the examination schedule and that no exams have been cancelled or postponed.

The clarification follows social media posts claiming that examinations were being called off because of the bandh. The Board termed such reports false and urged students and parents to follow only official updates.
NNKS has called the bandh over alleged errors in school textbooks for Classes I to VIII and has demanded accountability from the School and Mass Education Department, including the resignation of the concerned minister.
