Government seeks inputs to amend Polytechnic Teachers’ service rules

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government is moving to reform the Odisha Government Polytechnic Teachers’ Service Rules, 2024

It can help to bring changes in the eligibility for the recruitment of Lecturer (Stage-I) posts in government polytechnic institutions.

There is an official communication released by the Skill Development and Technical Education Department for Directorate of Technical Education and Training (DTET), Cuttack,

It has been asked to provide details about discipline-wise required educational qualifications and equivalent qualifications for engineering as well as non-engineering disciplines.

Along with this, suggestions are sought for revision of criteria for eligibility under the Odisha Government Polytechnic Teachers’ Service Rules, 2024.

The government is taking this initiative to make sure the eligibility standards for the various streams are updated prior to commencing recruitment for teaching positions.

This information is requested by Additional Secretary Bishwa Ranjan Rath so that finalization and presentation of amendments before government can be made without delay.
