Odisha Govt Seeks Updated Data on PSU Appointments

The Odisha government has initiated a review of appointments made across State Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).


In a letter issued by Special Secretary Smt. Lipsa Das, OAS (SS) of the Public Enterprises Department, all Managing Directors and Chief Executive Officers of State PSUs have been directed to submit updated information on appointments made between June 12, 2024, and April 30, 2026.

The directive, marked urgent, follows a communication from the General Administration and Public Grievance (GA & PG) Department. The government asked PSUs to provide detailed data in a prescribed format, including the number of appointments made, the positions filled, and vacancies still remaining.

Officials said the move aims to ensure transparency and accountability in recruitment across 44 State-run enterprises. Departments must also report the number of sanctioned posts, vacant positions, and employee strength.
