Konark: DIG, Puri SP Review Security for Konark Festivals

DIG Central Range Dr. Satyajit Naik and Puri SP Prateek Singh on Monday reviewed the security arrangements for the Konark Dance Festival and the International Sand Art Festival in Konark, Puri.

The officers assessed the preparedness to ensure a safe and smooth experience for tourists and local visitors. The review focused on lifeguard deployment along the coastline, enforcement of traffic regulations, and installation of CCTV cameras across key points in the festival areas.

Authorities said the measures are aimed at strengthening public safety as the twin festivals draw large crowds each year.
