CM Mohan Majhi to Join ‘Ekta Marathon’ in Balasore on November 13

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will take part in the grand ‘Ekta Marathon’ in Balasore district on November 13, commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India, announced Balasore MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi on Sunday.

“The Chief Minister will participate in the unity run, which will start from Nilagiri and conclude at Mitrapur,” said Sarangi.

The marathon, themed around national unity, integrity, and brotherhood, aims to foster a spirit of collective pride in India’s diversity while honouring Sardar Patel’s pivotal role in uniting the nation.

In addition to the main event at Nilagiri, similar unity runs will also be organised at Bhograi and Balasore town on the same day.

MP Sarangi further informed that the district administration, local leaders, and youth organisations are working in coordination to ensure the smooth conduct and success of the marathon.
