3 critical, 1 injured as bus collides heads on with car in Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: Four people were injured among which three are critical after a bus crashed heads on with a car in Odisha’s Dhenkanal. The Accident took place on Kapilas-Haripur road near Deogaon under Gandia police station limits.

As per reports, the bus named Khushi, was going from Cuttack to Pallahara while the car was on its way from Kapilas to Tangi road when they collided.

The accident resulted in a huge impact on the car while parts of the bus also received damages.

However, no one was injured inside the bus. The car crumpled at the front due to the massive impact and came to halt after scraping a road side.

Three of the four occupants of the car had critical injuries and another had minor one.

All the car occupants were rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital in Cuttack.

The bus had stopped on one side of the road after the accident.

On being informed, police has reached the site and determining the circumstances that led up to the accident,
