Youth Dies in Clashes after He Attacks Woman with Knife

Balangir: A youth succumbed to injuries in Balangir district of Odisha on Wednesday after being attacked by the family members of a woman he had allegedly stabbed with a knife.

The incident occurred in Belpada under Kantabanji area of Balangir district.

As per reports, the youth attacked a woman with a knife in Belpada on Wednesday. The attack is said to be linked to past enmity stemming from a family feud.

Following the assault, the woman’s family members retaliated and assaulted the youth. Both the woman and the youth sustained serious injuries and were shifted to Balangir for treatment.

The youth later died while undergoing treatment at Balangir hospital. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the matter.
