TPSODL employees dies while working in Bhanjangar

Bhanjanagar: An outsourcing employee of the Tata Power Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) died while working in Sadula village in Bhanjangar of Ganjam district.

According to sources, the deceased, identified as Durgamadav Jena was working atop an electric pole when he suddenly fell unwell. So, he was rushed to the Bhanjanagar hospital in a critical condition.

However, the doctor declared him dead at the hospital. The reason behind his death is not known.

The TPSODL officers has reached the hospital and has promised to help his families as per the department rules.

Notably, the electricity has been cutoff in the Bhanjanagar area for the last two does due to the storm caused by Kalbaisakhi.
