Moderate rain alert for 17 districts of Odisha issued by IMD today

Bhubaneswar: Odisha, reeling under the fresh spell of low pressure which continues to bring widespread rainfall to several areas in the state and likely to witness further downpours according to regional office of Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).

Seventeen districts of the state will witness moderate rainfall for the next three hours according to IMD.

Moderate rain is very likely to occur at many places over Anugola, Balangir, Baleshwar, Bargada, Bhadrak, Boudh, Debagada, Dhenkanal, Jajapur, Kendrapada, Kendujhar, Koraput, Mayurbhanj, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Sambalpur, Sonpur in next 3 hours.

People in the mentioned districts have also been advised to be careful while going outside.
