Supervisor Run Over by Truck at Paradip Port

Paradip: A tragic incident occurred late last night at the Paradip Port Prohibited area, where a supervisor lost his life after being allegedly run over by a heavy truck.

The deceased has been identified as Bhramarbar Swain, a resident of Panpalli village in Kujang Block, Jagatsinghpur district.

According to reports, Swain was on duty and seated on a chair when the truck hit him, killing him on the spot. Fellow workers immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.

The Paradeep Marine Police have seized the truck involved in the incident. However, the driver managed to flee the scene and remains at large.

Authorities are investigating the matter, and efforts are underway to apprehend the truck driver.
