Shalini Pandit appointed as Joint Secretary, Dept of Financial Services, Govt of India

Bhubaneswar: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved names of 35 IAS officers from across the country for appointment at Joint Secretary/Joint Secretary equivalent level with pay at Level 14 of the Pay Matrix.

Accordingly, Ms. Shalini Pandit, a 2001 batch Odisha cadre IAS officer, has been appointed as the Joint Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Government of India. Her appointment will be from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Sameer Shukla, IAS (KN:2005).

It was mentioned in a letter issued by the Secretariat of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Department of Personnel and Training, Movement of India on Saturday.

Pandit is currently serving as the Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Department of School and Mass Education of the Odisha Government.
