Odisha CM, Deputy CMs Extend Greetings on Maha Vishuba Sankranti and Odia New Year

Bhubaneswar: On the auspicious occasion of Maha Vishuba Sankranti and the Odia New Year (Nababarsha), Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, along with Deputy Chief Ministers Pravati Parida and Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, extended warm greetings to the people of the state, wishing them happiness, peace, and prosperity.
In his message, the Chief Minister conveyed heartfelt congratulations to all Odias and expressed hope that the new year would bring joy, positivity, and renewed energy. He emphasised the importance of preserving and promoting Odisha’s rich cultural heritage and identity on the global stage.
Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida also greeted the people on the occasion, highlighting the significance of Maha Vishuba Sankranti, also known as Pana Sankranti, and wished for new opportunities, success, and prosperity for everyone.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo called upon citizens to move forward with renewed determination in the new year. He urged people to take fresh resolutions aimed at contributing to the state’s progress and development. He also offered prayers to Lord Jagannath, seeking happiness, good health, peace, and prosperity for all.
The leaders collectively emphasised unity, cultural pride, and a shared commitment to taking Odisha to greater heights in the coming year.
