Rain to Spoil Xmas Mood of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Rain may spoil the Xmas mood of the state from December 25.
As per the regional met office, the feeble trough of low at mean sea level over equatorial Indian Ocean & adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal off Lankan coast persists.
The moderate rainfall is on the cards for northern and western parts of the state for two days. During these two days, the places in Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Sambalpur, Dhenkanal, Angul, Jajpur and Cuttack districts are likely to feel coldest wind and showered rain .
There may be light rainfall in the districts including Kandhamal, Koraput, Gajapati and Malkangiri.
The Regional Meteorological Centre has also predicted light rainfall in one or two places of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts on Xmas Day.
