PM Vishwakarma Scheme Crosses 30 Lakh Registrations

The PM Vishwakarma Scheme has completed three years, with more than 30 lakh traditional artisans and craftspeople registered under the programme.

Launched in 2023, the scheme is aimed at supporting artisans working across 18 traditional trades by providing access to modern tools, skill training, financial assistance and market opportunities.
The initiative seeks to help artisans improve their productivity, earnings and entrepreneurial capabilities while strengthening traditional craftsmanship.

The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is marking the third anniversary of the scheme with an event in Kolkata on Wednesday. Union MSME Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi and West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari are scheduled to attend.
