Orissa High Court Judge Justice Chittaranjan Dash, Family Escape Unhurt in Road Mishap

Bhubaneswar: Orissa High Court Judge Justice Chittaranjan Dash and his family had a narrow escape when their car met with an accident on National Highway (NH)-26 in Odisha’s Kalahandi district on Friday.

According to reports, the incident occurred near Kinerkela in Kesinga area while Justice Dash and his family were on their way to visit the Manikeshwari Temple. The vehicle reportedly hit a pothole, causing two tyres to burst. Fortunately, the driver managed to bring the car to a halt in time, preventing a major mishap.

Following the incident, Justice Dash and his family continued their journey to Bhawanipatna in another vehicle.

Meanwhile, local residents expressed strong resentment over the poor condition of the highway, alleging that the authorities have failed to repair potholes on NH-26 despite repeated complaints. They demanded immediate road repair work to prevent similar accidents in the future.
