Odisha Weather Alert: Thunderstorms, Rain Likely in Several Districts

Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha are likely to experience light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning over the next three hours, according to the latest weather forecast.

The weather office said thunderstorms with lightning and rain are expected at a few places across Anugul, Dhenkanal, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Cuttack, including Cuttack city, as well as Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Kendujhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur and Baleshwar.

Residents in the affected areas have been urged to stay alert and closely monitor weather updates, particularly if conditions deteriorate. People have also been advised to take necessary precautions and avoid venturing outdoors during thunderstorms to ensure their safety.
