Odisha Vigilance Raids 7 Locations Linked to OCC Executive Engineer in DA Case

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance on Monday carried out simultaneous raids at seven locations associated with Sanjay Kumar Kispatta, Executive Engineer of Odisha Construction Corporation (OCC) Ltd., Bhubaneswar, over allegations of possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

According to Vigilance officials, the searches were launched following allegations that Kispatta had amassed wealth beyond his legitimate earnings. He had earlier served as Assistant Executive Engineer at the Project Administrator (P.A.), Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA), Koraput.

The search operation is being conducted by a Vigilance team comprising six Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), eight Inspectors, seven Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs), and other supporting personnel. The raids are being carried out under search warrants issued by the Special Vigilance Judge, Jeypore.

The locations under search include a rented house at Tikra Sahi behind Mutyalu Maa Temple in Koraput, a four-storey commercial building in Koraput town, and an under-construction residential house at Mouza-Kumbha-II in Koraput.

Officials are also searching Kispatta’s parental residence at Lateimunda village in Sundargarh district, along with an under-construction three-storey building at the same village. In addition, his residential quarters and office chambers in Bhubaneswar and Balangir are also being searched.

The Vigilance department said the searches are in progress, and details regarding the value of assets, cash, documents or any other recoveries will be disclosed after the operation is completed. Further investigation is underway.
