Odisha Registers 39 More Corona Deaths

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): A total 39 persons infected with COVID-19 succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours in Odisha, of which the highest of six deaths was from worst-hit Khordha district.

The patients died while undergoing treatment in hospitals for the disease. The fresh fatalities were reported from 18 districts. While Khordha registered 6 deaths, 3 each died of the virus in Angul, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi, Rayagada and Sundargarh districts in last 24 hours.

Similarly, 2 each death was reported from Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati, Deogarh, Cuttack and Boudh districts. One each died in Balangir, Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Mayurbhanj and Sambalpur districts. With this, the number of toll surged to 2,912 in Odisha.
