Odisha Congress to hold key meeting today under new state in-charge Lalji Desai

Bhubaneswar: In an important Political Affairs Committee meeting, the Odisha Congress will gather at the Congress Bhawan on Friday.

As per sources, the meeting presided over by the party’s newly appointed Odisha in-charge, Lalji Desai, will be graced by Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Bhakta Charan Das, along with other senior Congress leaders and office-bearers.

Matters relating to strengthening the party’s organisation across the state and increasing its grassroots activities are to be discussed in detail.

Plans to reinforce the party in various districts are also to be framed.

Unifying the senior leadership and strengthening the party structure is said to be a big challenge for the new in-charge.

Odisha Congress Pravari is on a three-day trip to the state, this is his first visit to the state after taking charge as Odisha Congress in-charge.
