Miscreants loot jewelry worth lakhs of rupees from jewelry shop

Balasore: Miscreants looted jewelry worth lakhs from a jewelry shop in Balasore district of Odisha yesterday night. The loot took place from the Pranakrishna jewelry shop located on the National Highway at Nua Gaon Chhaka, under the industrial area of the district.

As per claims, the miscreants cut the shutter of the jewelry shop with the help of a gas cutter and looted jewelry worth lakhs of rupees yesterday night.

According to the shopkeeper, the incident took place late last night. The looters cut the shutter of the shop with a gas cutter and looted all the silver, gold jewelries as well as jewelries that had come for repair.

The victim gold merchant has filed a complaint at the police outpost in Remuna Golei.

Accordingly, the police have started a search operation at the scene.

All the visuals have been captured on CCTV and the police are investigating the matter.
