Jharsuguda Declared No-Drone Zone for President’s Visit

Authorities in Jharsuguda imposed a complete ban on drone flights across the district on April 21 to ensure security during the President’s scheduled visit.
The district administration announced Jharsuguda as a “No Drone Zone” and “No Flying Zone.” District Magistrate and Collector issued the order, citing security concerns. Superintendent of Police G. R. Raghavendra tightened arrangements, directing police teams to remain vigilant and enforce restrictions.
The order prohibits the use of drones or any aerial vehicles in all parts of the district during the President’s visit. Officials warned that violations would invite strict legal action. The administration emphasised the need to maintain an impenetrable security perimeter.
Police appealed to residents for cooperation in maintaining peace and security. The administration urged citizens to respect the restrictions and support the measures taken for the high-profile visit.
