Jajpur: Brahmabarada Sealed after Detection of 1st Corona Case

Jajpur (Reporters Today Bureau): After Jajpur reported the first Corona case yesterday, the administration today sealed the entire Brahmabarada area to prevent spread of the virus.

After the announcement,  Rasulpur Tehsildar, Kuakhia police along with administrative officials visited Brahmabarada area to take stock of the shutdown enforcement.  Besides, fire personnel were deployed to disinfect public places and establishments. This apart, all shops, including vegetable and grocery stores have remained shut due to the shutdown, said the District Magistrate Ranjan Kumar Dash.

Worth mentioning,  a person of Brahmabarada area in Rasulpur block with link to Tablighi Jamaat meet tested positive for Coronavirus yesterday. He was later sent to COVID hospital at Aswini Hospital in Cuttack.
