Harminder pal takes charge as IG BSF

(Reporters Today, Bhubaneswar): Harminder Pal Singh, took charge as IG BSF from Aswini Kumar Singh, IG as the Odisha Frontier Commander in Bhubaneswar today. He is a highly professional BSF cadre officer of 1984 batch having in-depth knowledge and experience of fighting against Militancy and Guerrilla warfare in Kashmir. While taking over the responsibility he said,“the operations against the Naxals will be enhanced in close coordination with the state administration.”Importance will be given on facilitation of developmental projects of the State government in the interior areas, he added.
