Half-Burnt Body of Unidentified Man Found Near Kelucharan Park in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The half-burnt body of an unidentified man was recovered near Kelucharan Park in the Gadakana area of Bhubaneswar on Wednesday, triggering panic in the locality.

Police suspect that the man may have been murdered elsewhere and his body later dumped and set on fire to destroy evidence and conceal his identity.

The deceased is yet to be identified, and the circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear. The body bore extensive burn injuries, while the shirt worn by the victim was also found burnt.

Investigators suspect that the body had been lying at the spot for the past few days. They are probing all possible angles, including murder and an attempt to destroy evidence.

Meanwhile, a scientific team, along with police personnel, visited the spot and began collecting forensic samples as part of the investigation.
