Gundicha Temple Opens for Devotees

The long wait of devotees has finally come to an end as the Gundicha Temple has opened its doors to the public. The temple was opened at 7:45 AM today.

For the next three days, devotees will be allowed free entry to the Gundicha Temple. Thereafter, an entry fee of ₹10 per person will be charged.

However, the entry fee will be waived for senior citizens above 80 years of age, children and persons with disabilities. Special arrangements have also been made to ensure convenient darshan for devotees with disabilities.

The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration has set up free shoe and mobile phone storage facilities for devotees. Arrangements for drinking water and CCTV surveillance have also been made inside the temple.

The Natamandap of the Gundicha Temple has also been equipped with a fully air-conditioned facility.

The temple will remain open for devotees every day from 6 AM to 5 PM.
