Five IAS officers appointed for Puri projects

(Reporters Today, Bhubaneswar): Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has today appointed five IAS Officers for the development of Puri. Chief Advisor to Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) R Balakrishnan and 5T secretary V K Pandian briefed the probationers about their job and responsibilities. They were advised to give their best and to make it success, as the State government is ambitious to turn Puri into a World Heritage City, said a Press release issued by Chief Minister’s Office.

The five 2018 batch IAS probationers namely Suryavanshi Mayur Vikas, Kirtivasan V, Dr. Subhankar Mahapatra, J Sonal and Bhubnesh Devdas Patil will be a part of  the development project planned for Puri City today.

Worth mentioning, The State government has given special emphasis to develop Puri into a World Heritage City. Different projects have been undertaken at a total cost of Rs. 500 crores for development of infrastructure, conservation of ancient monuments and security for the city.
