Fire Breaks Out at Oil Factory in Sonepur; Efforts On to Douse Blaze

Sonepur: A fire broke out at Shree Jagadamba Oil Factory in Sahanidiha under Ulunda police station limits in the early hours of Thursday, triggering an emergency response from the fire services.

According to reports, the blaze erupted suddenly within the factory premises. Employees present at the site noticed the fire and immediately alerted the Binka fire brigade.

Following the alert, fire tenders rushed to the spot and launched firefighting operations to bring the situation under control.

Till the last reports came in, efforts were still underway to douse the flames completely and prevent the fire from spreading further. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

Details regarding the extent of property damage are yet to be confirmed, while fire service personnel continue their operations at the site.
