ECoR Revises Timings of Two MEMU Trains in Odisha from April 25

Bhubaneswar: In a bid to improve passenger convenience and ensure smoother train operations, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has revised the timings of two MEMU train services in Odisha with effect from April 25, 2026.

The changes apply to Train No. 68421 (Angul–Puri MEMU) and Train No. 68437 (Bhadrak–Cuttack MEMU), both of which run on key commuter routes in the state.

Angul–Puri MEMU Revised Schedule

As per the revised timetable, Train No. 68421 will depart from Angul at 05:10 hrs and reach Talcher at 05:35 hrs, departing again at 05:45 hrs. It will arrive at Meramandali at 06:09 hrs and Dhenkanal at 07:00 hrs.

The train will then proceed via Naraj Marthapur, Barang, Bhubaneswar New, and Mancheswar before arriving at Bhubaneswar at 08:50 hrs. After a brief halt, it will continue towards Khurda Road, Delang, and Sakhigopal, and is scheduled to reach its final destination, Puri, at 10:50 hrs.

Bhadrak–Cuttack MEMU Revised Schedule

Train No. 68437 will now depart from Bhadrak at 15:00 hrs and reach Kenduapada at 15:20 hrs. It will pass through Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Dhanmandal, Kapilas Road, and Nergundi before arriving at Cuttack at 18:40 hrs.

Passengers have been advised to check updated train timings through official platforms such as the NTES and UTS apps before commencing their journey.

Railway officials said the revision is part of ongoing efforts to enhance punctuality and streamline operations across major rail corridors in Odisha.
