Deo river water level rises after heavy rain

Udala: Continuous rainfall over the last two days in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district has led to a surge in the Deo River’s water level in Udala.
As per reports, the river has almost one foot of water flowing over the temporary bridge at Jamughat on Udala-Kainsari road.
The river had started swelling since last day owing to rainfall in the vicinity and severe rainfall in the upper catchment areas.
Following which, the temporary bridge got submerged as the river water increased thereby hampering the movement through the road.
The inhabitants and commuters in the area have been warned to be careful while passing through the zone as the river flows over the danger mark on the temporary bridge.
