Deadline Extended for 1st Round UG Admissions in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Higher Education Department has extended the deadline for the first round of undergraduate (UG) course admissions for the academic year 2025–26. The move aims to accommodate students who were allotted seats in the first round but failed to complete admission formalities within the original timeline.

As per an official notification issued by the department, these candidates now have until 3:00 PM on June 21, 2025, to complete the necessary procedures. This includes exercising the Freeze, Slide, or Float options, payment of admission fees, and reporting to their respective institutions.

The department has urged all eligible candidates to utilize this extended window to confirm their seats. Failure to do so may result in disqualification from the current admission cycle.

Students and institutions have been advised to adhere strictly to the revised schedule to ensure a smooth admission process.
