Rain to continue for 3 more days

Bhubaneswar: Heavy rainfall is likely to lash out for three more days in the state. A cyclonic circulation is active over the Gangetic West Bengal adjoining the coast of North Odisha. As a result of this the rainfall for three more days in Odisha.
According to the regional centre of the Indian Meteorological Department at Bhubaneswar, the rainfall in the eastern state of Odisha will continue till July 7. Several districts in the state will be affected due to the disturbance in the northern part of Odisha.
Continues drizzles of rain were seen in the capital city of Bhubaneswar and several other districts this morning. In the next 24 hours, heavy to very heavy rainfall can be expected in Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur and Bargarh. These districts have been issued an orange warning for heavy rainfall. Along with rain, lightning and thunderstorm will be expected. The wind speed is likely to remain at 30 to 40 kmph.
For heavy to very heavy rainfall, 11 districts have been issued a yellow warning. Yellow warnings have been issued to 7 districts.
The IMD also predicted that from July 7 onwards, the rainfall in the state will start to lower. The continues rains in the state can be attributed to the back to back cyclonic circulation. There are two more such circulations that has been predicted in the next few days.
These low-pressure rains have contributed to the excess amount rainfall in the state in comparison to the usual downpour from June 26 to July 2.
