Man Strangles Wife, Dumps Body at Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A tragic and shocking incident has emerged from the Mancheswar area of Bhubaneswar, where a man allegedly strangled his wife to death and later abandoned her body at the Capital Hospital before fleeing the scene.

The deceased has been identified as Nandita Behera. According to allegations made by her family members, she was murdered by her husband, Gupteswar Behera, following a heated argument late Sunday night.

Sources indicate that the couple engaged in a quarrel over an undisclosed matter, during which Gupteswar allegedly strangled Nandita. After the incident, he reportedly transported her body to Capital Hospital and left it there without informing anyone.

The matter came to light when hospital authorities informed the local police upon discovering the body. A case has been registered, and a manhunt is underway to locate the accused, who is currently absconding.

Police have launched a detailed investigation to uncover the exact motive behind the crime and verify the sequence of events.
