Jagannath Temple Queue System Starts Jan 20

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Law Minister, Prithiviraj Harichandan, announced that the proposed queue system at the Jagannath Temple in Puri will be implemented from January 20 to ensure a smooth darshan experience for devotees.

Initially scheduled for implementation in the New Year, the system was delayed due to the heavy influx of pilgrims.

Regarding the ongoing repair work at the Ratna Bhandar, Harichandan confirmed that it would be completed before March. Currently halted for Makar Sankranti rituals, the work will resume on January 17.

Upon completion, the inventory and transfer of valuable ornaments and gems back to the Ratna Bhandar will commence.
