Draupadi’s Win Will Rejoice Odisha
Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): With the Presidential poll result, India to witness new President of the country tomorrow.
According to our prediction Mrs. Draupadi Murmu is all set to become the 15th President of India. A tribal face from Odisha is a candidate of National Democratic Alliance (NDA). As Droupadi is a resident of Odisha and a former minister in Naveen Patnaik’s Government, the ruling Biju Janata Dal extended full support to the NDA candidate.
Wave of pleasure flows across Odisha as a village tribal woman is ready to take country’s highest office. The voting in the presidential elections 2022 was conducted on July 18, with a voter turnout of almost 99 percent. NDA backed candidate Draupadi Murmu while the opposition backed candidate Yashwant Sinha.
As per calculations and taking into account the cross-voting that occurred on July 18, it is likely that NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu will emerge victorious in the presidential polls, with a clear majority. It is expected that Murmu has received over 60 percent of the votes. Meanwhile, Yashwant Sinha is expected to get just under 40 percent of the total vote share.
If elected, Draupadi Murmu will be the first-ever President of India belonging to the tribal community. Meanwhile, the current President of India Ram Nath Kovind is set to complete his term on July 25, 2022.
