Odisha Registers 35 More COVID Deaths

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): A total 35 COVID-19 patients died of the hazardous disease in the last 24 hours in Odisha. “Regret to inform the demise of 35 numbers of Covid positive patients while under treatment in hospitals,” informed the State Health & Family Welfare Department today.

The fresh fatalities due to COVID-19 were reported from 14 districts. Angul district continued to report the highest of 5 deaths in a single day followed by Cuttack, Khordha, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur and Subarnapur districts with 3 cases each.

The remaining 12 deaths were reported from 8 districts included Deogarh (2), Gajapati (2), Ganjam (2), Jharsuguda (2), Sundargarh (2), Nayagarh (1) and Nuapada (1). With new 35 deaths, the toll surged to 2,754 in the State.
