Illegal liquor manufacturing unit busted in Bhadrak, 2 arrested

(Reporters Today, Bhubaneswar): Excise officials on Monday busted an illegal liquor manufacturing unit at Sindhala village under Tihidi area in Bhadrak district and arrested two persons including a woman in connection with the case.

However, another accused managed to escape the spot.

As per the directive of the District Collector, Excise officials conducted a raid at the liquor manufacturing unit and was successful in apprehending the accused duo.

Besides, the officials also seized cash worth lakhs of rupees, logos of different reputed liquor brands and raw materials used for making the country liquor.

Reportedly, the accused persons will be forwarded to the court.
