No more single-use plastic in Odisha govt offices

(Reporters Today, Bhubaneswar): After announcing ban on plastic in urban areas of Odisha from October 2, the State Government has decided to implement the same in offices and meetings. An order, issued by General Administration Department, has directed that, the state government employees not to use plastic water bottles, cups and plates in the offices and during official meetings.

Further, the employees have been advised to use stainless steel or glass bottles for fetching water from purifiers installed at offices. They have been asked to use glass bottles and paper cups & plates during official meetings.
