Red Cross felicitates SAI International chairman

Surjit Kumar Dhal,Bhubaneswar, June 21: Red Cross on Thursday felicitated  Chairman, SAI International Dr Bijay Kumar Sahoo for his exemplary service to the society.

The award was presented by Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal, at Raj Bhawan in the presence of Minister, School and Mass Education Samir Ranjan Das, Minister Higher Education Arun Sahoo and Health and Family Welfare Minister Naba Kishore Das.

Accepting the honour, Dr. Sahoo said, “For me, people come first and I will continue doing my bit towards the betterment of the society. I find my happiness in serving the community”.

Notably, Sahoo has been the longest serving Chairman Finance Standing Committee for the Indian Red Cross and his vision and dedication have been instrumental in working for the Red Cross Society.
