PV Sindhu Faces World No. 1 An Se Young in French Open 2026 Final

Indian badminton star PV Sindhu is set for a major challenge as she takes on South Korea’s top-ranked An Se Young in the women’s singles final of the French Open 2026 on Sunday afternoon in Paris.
The title clash will take place at the Stade Roland Garros complex, with both players competing for the prestigious championship trophy.
Sindhu secured her maiden French Open final appearance after overcoming Japan’s Hina Akechi in a hard-fought three-game semifinal on Saturday. The victory has brought the two-time Olympic medallist within one win of adding another major title to her career.

However, Sindhu will face a formidable opponent in An Se Young, who currently holds the world No. 1 ranking. The Indian shuttler will aim to deliver a strong performance against the South Korean star and finish her impressive campaign with the championship crown.
