India Clinches Two Gold Medals at World Para Archery Series in Ahmedabad

India delivered a strong performance at the 2026 World Para Archery Series Leg Three in Ahmedabad, winning two gold medals in the doubles events.
Harvinder Singh and Vijay Sundi secured their third consecutive World Para Archery Series title in the Para Recurve Men’s Doubles category. The Indian pair defeated Slovakia 6-2 in the final. They had previously claimed gold at the Bangkok and Nové Město legs, where they beat Chinese Taipei and Ukraine respectively.

In the Para Women’s Recurve Doubles final, Pooja Jatyan and Bhawna Choudhary had to settle for silver after suffering a 6-0 defeat against China.
India’s second gold came in the Compound Men’s Doubles event, where Tomar Kumar and Shyam Sunder Swami defeated Iraq’s Aldawod Anwer and Kadhim Abbas 152-139 to claim the title.
Meanwhile, Payal Nag and Sheetal Devi narrowly missed out on a medal, finishing fourth in the Women’s Compound Doubles after losing the bronze-medal match to China.
