Bollywood actor Govinda has taken a strong stand against misleading reports, fake content and AI-generated material concerning him and his family. His legal team has reportedly issued a notice warning digital platforms, media organisations and content creators against publishing or sharing misleading information about his personal life.

According to the notice, any content that damages Govinda’s or his family’s reputation or presents their personal lives in a false or misleading manner could invite legal action. Those found responsible may face both civil and criminal proceedings.

Govinda’s legal team has also raised concerns over the use of deepfakes, morphed images and other AI-generated content.
