Odisha Cabinet Meeting Today, Over 9 Proposals Likely to Get Approval

Bhubaneswar: Odisha State Cabinet is scheduled to meet today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.

More than 9 proposals are likely to receive approval in today’s Cabinet meet.

According to sources, proposals from key departments including Revenue, Works, Rural Development & Water Resources, Panchayati Raj, School & Mass Education, and  Health are on the agenda.

The state government is focusing on rolling out people-centric schemes across departments. Each District Collector has been asked to implement 25 new projects in their respective districts.

Special emphasis is being laid on farmer welfare through input subsidy, implementation of the ‘Subhadra’ scheme for women empowerment, universalization of education, and strengthening of  health infrastructure.

The Cabinet is expected to take major decisions aimed at accelerating development and service delivery across the state.
