Puri Police Roll Out Shuttle Bus Services Ahead of Bahuda Yatra and Sunabesha

Puri: With lakhs of devotees expected to visit the holy city for Bahuda Yatra and Sunabesha 2026, Puri Police have announced special shuttle bus services from key parking locations to facilitate smooth movement and minimise traffic congestion during the festivities.
As part of the traffic management plan, shuttle buses will operate from Talabania, Samanga and Sterling parking areas to important destinations within the city.
Devotees parking at Talabania can travel by shuttle from Helipad Chhaka to Ram Mandir Chhaka via the Block Office. The return service will operate from Ram Mandir Square to Helipad Chhaka through Shreekhetra Colony.
For pilgrims using the Samanga parking area, shuttle buses will run to Shree Setu Overbridge near Matitota via Shree Setu Gate. Another route will connect Samanga with Sterling Chhaka through Mangalaghat Square and Omkareshwar Temple. Return services will be available from Shree Setu Overbridge to Samanga via Mangalaghat Chhaka and from Sterling Chhaka to Samanga through Omkareshwar Temple and Mangalaghat Chhaka.
Shuttle buses will also operate between Sterling Chhaka and Light House Chhaka in both directions for devotees parking at the Sterling facility.
Police have urged visitors to make use of the shuttle services to ensure hassle-free travel and support smooth traffic management during the two major festivals.
