CRUT Introduces Special Ama Bus Services Across Multiple Routes for Rath Yatra Devotees

Bhubaneswar: To facilitate smooth and hassle-free travel during the upcoming Rath Yatra, the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) has announced special Ama Bus services on multiple routes for devotees and commuters.

Anticipating a massive influx of pilgrims for the world-famous festival, CRUT has introduced additional bus operations to strengthen public transport and ensure seamless connectivity while reducing traffic congestion.

The special services will operate on routes 22E, 50E, 51E, 54E, 56E, 57E, 58E, 59E, 61E, 72E, 77E, DD1 and AS. The AS route will serve as a dedicated shuttle service between Master Canteen and Biju Patnaik International Airport, offering easier access for air travellers.

The transport agency shared the details of the special arrangements through its official X handle and appealed to commuters and devotees to make use of the enhanced Ama Bus services during the festival.

The move is part of CRUT’s efforts to efficiently manage the expected rush of passengers during Rath Yatra and provide safe, reliable and convenient public transportation throughout the celebrations.
